Bertrand Fradet and Eric Dube, founders of Serres Toundra Greenhouse in St. Félicien-Quebec Canada, are showing the first fresh cut cucumbers from their newly built greenhouse.
This 8.5 ha greenhouse project was taken into production at the beginning of November and is already bearing fruit. The cucumbers will find their way to the customers via the local supermarket chain Sobeys, with whom Serres Toundra have a delivery contract.
The cucumbers have been harvested from the first realised phase of the four phases which will be built in the next few years under supervision of AAB International from The Netherlands.
